Doug Ducey, Arizona State Treasurer will be the featured speaker. Ducey, who was elected to his first term as Arizona State Treasurer in 2010 and oversees more than $11.8 billion in state assets, will give an overview of the latest developments in the Arizona Budget.
Local business owners and community members are encouraged to attend the luncheon to gain a better perspective on the State’s economy, budget and the solutions that are being utilized to balance the State’s financial situation.
In addition to State Treasurer Ducey, Christine Mackay, Economic Development Director for the City of Chandler, will give a briefing on the companies that will be coming to Chandler, bringing thousands of jobs and opportunities for economic growth within the City of Chandler.
Over the past five years Mackay has been instrumental in the expansion of more than 150 companies in Chandler, which in total have brought over 20,000 to the city and close to $9 billion in capital investments.
“State Treasure Doug Ducey and Chandler’s Economic Director Christine Mackay will provide a wealth of information that is pertinent to not only the residents of Chandler but to all of Arizona’s residents,” said Terri Kimble, President and CEO of the Chandler Chamber of Commerce.
