Will Dunford – Valley of the Sun Mortuary & Cemetery

The presentation will be approximately one hour.  It will tell the story of a couple and how they prepared for the “Golden Years”.  We will use the main characters from the “Brady Bunch”.  It will also include the roles of all of their children and how they affect the decisions that Mike and Carol make.  During the presentation, we will travel from planning for their retirement all the way to their wishes when they are nearing the end of life.

Mike- Eventually gets diagnosed with Dementia

Carol- She is trying to care for Mike, but can’t manage his care anymore and needs to use their retirement money to help pay for a memory care facility for Mike

Greg- Agrees that the money should be used for Mike’s care

Peter- Lives in New York as a stock broker and wants to invest their retirement money

Bobby – Still lives at home and helps care for Mike

Marcia- Doesn’t want Carol to use the money for a Memory care facility, because she wants an inheritance

Jan- joined the Peace Corp and is in another country with little or no contact with family

Cindy- Addicted to drugs and alcohol and is constantly needing money

Alice- passed away
