Annual State of the City Address May 24th

CHANDLER, Ariz. -- Mayor Jay Tibshraeny will present the 2011 State of the City address on Tuesday, May 24 at the Chandler City Council Chambers, 88 E. Chicago St.

The Mayor’s annual State of the City address is titled “Connecting with Community.” He will share Chandler’s accomplishments and discuss upcoming opportunities and challenges for the City.

The State of the City is open to all residents, beginning with a reception with the City Council in the Vision Gallery, located across the courtyard from Council Chambers at 6 p.m. The Mayor's address, and an accompanying video presentation, will begin at approximately 7 p.m. 

The free event will include light refreshments and people do not need to RSVP to attend. The State of the City address will be re-broadcast periodically on the City's Cable Channel 11 and streamed on the City's web site, http://www.chandleraz.gov/.
