WHEN WORK WORKS - Sponsored by Intel

The Chandler Chamber of Commerce has been selected for the 6th year running as the host chamber for the national Alfred P. Sloan Workplace Flexibility program awards.

This prestigious award recognizes employers and worksites of all sizes and types across the country that are using flexibility as a strategy to increase workplace effectiveness and enhance business and employee success.

Some of the issues that the workplace flexibility program addresses are changes in workplace initiatives and the newest movements towards merging commerce and flexibility to establish a more competitive work environment,  meeting growing environmental concerns, improving health and wellness in the workplace, and attracting and sustaining the vital multi-generational workforce of tomorrow.

Applications for the national 2011 Alfred P. Sloan Awards for Business Excellence in Workplace Flexibility are available on line at whenworkworks.org.  The deadline to apply is May 27th.  For more information contact Rota Venners at the Chandler Chamber of Commerce, 480 963-4571 or log on to www.whenworkworks.org
