Chandler, AZ (February 17, 2011) - On Saturday March 5, 2011 the Chandler Chamber of Commerce hosts the 7th Annual Ostrich Festival Fun Run and Health Fair. Whether you are an accomplished runner or someone just out for a casual stroll through the streets of Downtown Chandler, this Fun Run is for you.
The 5K race will start at 8:00 a.m. Entry fee is $18 through February 19th, $20 before 6 p.m. on March 4th, and $25 on race day. You can register online at http://www.4peaksracing.com/
This is a great opportunity to explore Downtown, enjoy the fresh air, rub elbows with your friends and family, and to stay active in your community.
Also included in the downtown festivities is a health fair (with back checks, massages, and more) that will run from 7:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. and the 23rd Annual Thorobred Chevrolet Ostrich Festival Parade which will start at 10:00 a.m.
